Introducing the breed’s first breed and
obedience champion, CH OTCH Sunchase’s Texas Margarita, UDX. Sire,
Ch. Hi-Tech Johnny J of Boxerton; Dam, Ch. Sunchase’s Suicide
Blonde, UDX, OA, OAJ. Special thanks to Rita’s breeder, Tracy
Hendrickson of Sunchase Boxers, Terri Galle (who handled her to her
breed championship), Cathy Niles, Dave Gannon, Julie Hill and Mary
Baker (among others) who assisted in her obedience training and
offered their undying support. Owned, trained and handled in
obedience by Peggy McConnell. Rita’s career boasts 10 HITs, 5 of
which were all-breed shows, including a career high score of 199.5
out of a possible 200. Although the long road to an OTCH was a
struggle for Rita, Peggy recognized what a special, loving dog Rita
is. She will always hold a special place in Peggy’s heart. Rita’s
signature marks are her high-stepping, accurate heeling and her flip
finishes. Since Rita will be 8 years old in August, this ABC will be
